A good friend of mine and fellow Waco author, Michael Bracken, is being honored with the Edward D. Hoch Memorial Golden Derringer Award (Lifetime Achievement) on Thursday night during the opening ceremonies of Bouchercon 2016.
I've known Michael quite a while and have had stories accepted for a couple of mystery anthologies he edited in the past. He is probably the most prolific writer I know and is very deserving of this honor. Congratulations, Michael. No one deserves it more.
