Just got confirmation last week that I will be participating in two panels at Bouchercon 2021 in August in New Orleans.
I will be moderating a panel titled "How To Combat Writer's Block" on Saturday, Aug. 28, from 2:30- 3:20 p.m. At least I hope it is in the p.m.; the email just said 2:30-3:20. Although, that might be a much more interesting panel if it were at 2:30 A.M. in New Orleans!!!
I will be joined by five other fabulous authors for that panel. Over the next couple of months, I will add some information on each of them to my blog.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!
So, what in the world could be MORE exciting than moderating a panel at Bouchercon, you ask? How about being ON a panel moderated by a favorite author?
On Thursday, Aug. 26, from 5:00-5:50 p.m., I will be one of the panelists on the "Crime in Wide Open Spaces" panel, moderated by Craig Johnson, whose Longmire series of novels was made into a six-season television series on A&E and Netflix starring Robert Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips.
It doesn't get any better than that since my Texas Rodeo Murder novel is also set in the modern American West.
Anyway, if you happen to be in New Orleans that weekend for Bouchercon, slide by and catch me in one of these two panels.
